Award-Winning Gems from Across Japan Gather in Singapore

Since its launch in 2016, Undiscovered Gems of Japan has been dedicated to discovering exceptional products, services, and passionate creators hidden throughout Japan, helping them gain recognition not only nationwide but also on the global stage.

Beginning with regional competitions held across the country, champions from the Food, Crafts, and Lifestyle Goods categories who have advanced through the Japan Championship are now ready to take on the world.

On July 29, 2026, the Undiscovered Gems of Japan World Championship 2026 will be held at the historic The Alkaff Mansion in Singapore.

This prestigious event is open only to the nation's top artisans and entrepreneurs who have successfully advanced through both the regional and Japan championships, making it a true gateway to international recognition.

The judging panel features globally respected leaders, including CEOs and general managers of renowned hotels, celebrated restaurant chefs, investors, entrepreneurs, and editors of Forbes Magazine. The finest products selected through this rigorous process will come together on the stage in Singapore.

This year, five outstanding artisans who achieved top honors at the Japan Championship will compete for the World Grand Prix title. In front of an international audience of judges and guests, they will deliver presentations in English, showcasing not only their products but also the stories, culture, and regional pride behind them.
